Earlier this week Barnes & Noble unveiled their highly anticipated eReader - the Nook. With features pulling from Sony's eReader and Amazon's Kindle - it's a strong contender in the eReader market. So strong in fact, that's it's made me begin to wonder if it's time for me to jump into the fray - pick a side - and convert to eBooks.

Despite my love of reading - or perhaps because of it - I've never really considered purchasing an eReader. When initially in development my first impression ...

Okay...so for truly the first time I played Rock Band at a party this past Saturday.

Oh my goodness!!! That was SO much more fun than I thought it would be. Now, I didn't play any of the instruments....god help everyone....I sang. But....since I picked certain songs....I didn't torture anyone. Too badly.

We played on the XBox 360 platform, but I'm sure it's pretty similiar on others. I'm definitely planning on buying this for our own XBox 360 as soon as this holiday madness is over.

There were some others that I can't quite think about right now, but I can't think of right now. But when asked if girls are changing, he said he felt it was not.

One member from Yakmala says "The Spirit is looking into Frank Miller's soul" which is filled with whores and eggs apparently.

The original The Spirit was created by Will Eisner back in 1940 and first was seen mainly on the cartoon section on the Sunday newspaper. It's a story of Denny Colt ...

My goal is to one day allow certain users to go ahead and post on the site and it goes up almost immediately. But for now, we're working like an ezine or article site. I like it because we are able to filter and fix typos easier that way.

They are FREE, you DO NOT get graded, there is NO homework. You can sit in the back and just listen to the lecture or you can sit at one of the many computers in the classroom and try your hand at what is being taught.

www.bookmooch.com

Someone somewhere has the book you want, or wants your book. If you're looking to get rid of books or pick some up used, I recommend these two sites.

There might be a little bit of a wait, but if you 'Need That Book Now,' there's always the local store. Game books are kind of thin, but general non/fiction abounds.

I've tried a bunch of other sites (5?) but these two have given consistently good experiences.

Hey there!

Love the site. Thanks to Constance for reccomending it.

Just thought of an idea to add a forum just for web/stores with links and reviews. For instance, what people love about the store, or if they had a bad experience and want to warn people to stay away.

There are so many geeky stores for us to enjoy, why not have a place for us to share and drool together.

Cheers!

Started this today and finished it today. YAY!

Well this is Disara again, I've been drawing her a lot as of late. Disara is a Rogue character that I created and have so far used for Dungeons & Dragons, EverQuest 2, & World of Warcraft. And these games have developed her quirky personality.

Those of you who have had the luck of meeting Disara in World of Warcraft's RP server "The Scryers" might have learned that she's an alcoholic, but is also very flirty. Though ...

I highly suggest people to read "A Game of Thrones" by George R.R. Martin

It's not really a hard fantasy story, more like a medieval story with subtle bits of magic. They don't toss magic at you like what you might read in Harry Potter books, but you still get that mystical feel from it.

And there is probably some character that you will link with, I personally link with a girl named Arya who is a princess with a desire to be like her brothers and learn to sword fight ...

A game like World of Warcraft has spawned many fan based creations. From fan comics & stories to songs written about he game. But my personal favorite is - what many call these days - Machinama (or Machinamation). You can view many home made videos of this genre by visiting Warcraft Movies or Youtube.

The Grind

Episode 1 (sadly the video can't show in these forums)

Never Stay Tuned 1

Wrath of a Couch Potato

MMOVIE

The Craft of War: BLIND

So I'm having it link to another page for the articles on the main page for people to comment on. This is what I have so far for the Machinama article: LINK

While my art consists of wobbly stick figures that are both vertically and horizontally challenged, other people here are much more talented. I come across these things in my wanderings and am very much a 'get out the info' sort of person. This is by no means a be all, end all list of contests.

The contests are not necessarily Game related, but it's an opportunity to add to your portolio and possibly some $$.

Good luck!

Like many gamers, I play World of Warcraft regularly. I have multiple toons of every race and class, I have a main who's running around Northrend, I have a Death Knight, and I'm constantly exploring new servers to see what the crowd is like. But no matter which server I go to, I find there is one thing that WoW constantly lets me down in. Roleplay.
