Thank you everyone for your help

Hello Nerdy Chix and friends,

The site is pretty much up and running and I wish to thank everyone that has helped me with getting the site up and running. All of your ideas have been wonderful and I hope to receive more ideas from you in the coming year.

And anything that you wish to submit is still open – News Articles, Artwork, Literature, Poetry, etc. Feel free to post them in the forums.

Next Topic

Sometime in the middle of January, I plan on updating the page with new article information. This one will be a little more broad and expand a little beyond World of Warcraft – though you can still post about the MMORPG if you wish.

But for the new years, I figure we could post topics that look back at 2008 or forward at 2009. So give your top ten best or worst of something nerdy – Your favorite books, movies, nerd events, nerd stores to visit, video games to try, etc.

We also will have the Oscars coming on February 22nd and the big buzz is the movie “Dark Knight” making it in several spots for the 2009 Oscars. We also have Walle being thought about in being Best Animated Film.”

But with February comes Valentines Day. A day many of us Nerd Chix hate, loath or maybe indifferent about and consider it to be a silly holiday created by Hallmark. So maybe write about things for the Nerd Chix to do for the day (Play in the Holiday Event on World of Warcraft, etc). There is also a site known as Soul Geek that I wouldn’t mind someone writing about (especially if you’ve tried it out).

Even though I just announced a list of ideas above, that doesn’t mean that you have to stop writing about World of Warcraft or other Nerd-tastic topics. Just let me know or submit your article to me and I’ll look over it.

Looking for Staff Members

So I’m wondering who would like to be considered a Staff member on the site. I’m not asking anyone to suddenly drop their lives and jobs in order to help run the site, just maybe a couple of people to spell check things that will be posted in the Staff Only forum section that will be posted on the site. Or maybe you would like to be someone who will Interview interesting people that you find on the Internet or even deviantART. Or maybe you want to help grab images for some of the articles that are posted in the Staff Only forum (some articles are just too bland without images).

Maybe a fanfic gallery for various gamer chick related stories? I can find where my Conan and WoW stories are and throw those up. Even a Star Wars or two...

And you need your Star Wars comic to be made. I loved the story that you told me for that.

And Conana stories? That would be interesting. The best way they were described to me was by some guy calling them his roMANce novels for men.
